EDC created the EDC-FITT Internship Program because international trade is critical to Canada’s economic prosperity. We are dedicated to helping students like you – the next generation of business leaders – to succeed. Through our Education and Youth Employment (EYE) Strategy, we contribute to building international trade capacity by assisting educational institutions and other stakeholders to prepare Canadian students for careers in international trade.

EDC is awarding one 12-month EDC-FITT Internship on an annual basis worth approximately $35,000. The intern will get exposure to the challenges of Canadian entrepreneurs while working on EDC’s Small Business Development team. The internship will include mentoring from leading industry experts at EDC’s head office and will begin in the summer of 2009.
