MARKETING MANAGER


The Acadian Trading House Inc. (ATH) is a marketing group of eight (8) manufacturers of wood & building products located in Northern New Brunswick. The company seeks to hire a marketing manager to oversee their international trade activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, organize, develop and execute marketing initiatives that will drive business development opportunities
  • Develop a marketing strategy identifying key marketing efforts and promotional tools needed including annual budget for implementation
  • Develop key promotional tools for their strategic use
  • Identify and target international markets and key projects
  • Undertake travel, as required, to expand customer base and business opportunities
  • Provide the ATH Group with suitable contract opportunities for product supply and sales
  • Coordinate and monitor ATH marketing campaigns and make recommendations to revise business and marketing strategy as needed
  • Prepare reports and briefs for the ATH Group and its Board of Directors
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors and attend board meetings as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education, Training & Experience
  • University degree in marketing, business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing & sales and/or in the wood sector and the value-added wood manufacturing sector
  • An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will be considered
  • Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) preferred and will be considered an asset
Skills & Competencies
  • Able to identify relevant contacts, develop and maintain business relationships
  • Motivated, autonomous, good leadership skills and excellent team player
  • Strong analytical skills, able to initiate and develop strategic action plans
  • Excellent personal and communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Languages: English and French: at a minimum, be fluent in one and good in the other.
  • Spanish will be considered an asset.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Full time position ; minimum 3 year contract with option for renewal
• Salary based on experience; up to 90,000$ per annum plus benefits
• Candidate must commit to establish residence in New Brunswick
